Controller

The controller for data processing on this website is Digitacura LLC (see imprint for contact details).

Principle

We collect as little data as possible. There are no advertising or marketing tools, no social media plugins and no third-party content. Fonts are served from our own server.

Server log files

When you visit the website, our hosting provider (RTCnow Streaming Services GmbH, Vienna) processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and referrer. This is based on our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest unless needed to investigate a security incident.

Web analytics with Matomo

We use the open-source software Matomo to analyse how the website is used and to improve it. Matomo runs on servers of our service provider RTCnow Streaming Services GmbH in Vienna (analytics.rtcnow.com); the data is not shared with third parties and does not leave the EU.

By default, Matomo measures without cookies: your IP address is shortened by two bytes (anonymised) before storage, nothing is stored on your device and no user profiles are built across visits. Data recorded includes pages viewed, time on page, referrer, device type, browser, screen resolution and approximate country. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Only if you consent in the cookie banner may Matomo additionally set cookies to recognise returning visits (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) Austrian TKG 2021). You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, your visit is not recorded.

Booking appointments via Calendly

To book calls, we link to Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). Calendly is not embedded in this website; data is only transferred once you click the link and book an appointment on the Calendly page, where Calendly’s privacy notice applies. We process the details you provide when booking to prepare and hold the call (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Contacting us by email

If you contact us by email, we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact the email address given in the imprint. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in Austria the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
